Our graduate, Yasemin Altunbaş Otluoğlu, has been appointed CEO of Yargıcı

Yasemin Altunbaş Otluoğlu, a 2004 Economics graduate, has been appointed the new CEO of Yargıcı.

Yasemin Altunbaş Otluoğlu, who began her career in 2004 in the Risk Management Department of Sabancı Holding, has held senior positions in domestic and international organizations in the areas of investment banking, mergers and acquisitions, strategic transformation, and restructuring throughout her career.

 

 

Following her corporate banking experience at Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Odea Bank, and Burgan Bank, she served as Executive Vice President of Corporate and Retail Banking at Turkland Bank from 2019 to 2021. In 2022, Otluoğlu assumed the role of Executive Vice President responsible for financial risks and reinsurance operations in Türkiye and Central Asia. Between 2023 and 2025, she served as Head of the Banking Group and Deputy Chief Executive Officer at Zeren Holding. During this period, she led acquisition and transformation projects for financial institutions and companies.

Yasemin Altunbaş Otluoğlu, one of the first students to enter Sabancı University in 1999, graduated from the Economics program in 2004 and completed her master's degree in finance at the London School of Economics.
